I write to express my gratitude for your expertise, patience, professionalism, compassion, and concern while you treated my anal fissure and currently treat my hemorrhoids. Never have I encountered a doctor quite like you.
On numerous occasions, you sat patiently with me to discuss my concerns about my conditions. When I inquired, you described to me in detail the treatments you would use to treat my conditions. You supported me throughout my treatments. You made yourself available to me for my after hours post-operative concerns the duration of my healing. YOU ARE AN AWESOME DOCTOR!
When you diagnosed my problems, I shed tears. Why? Because, many people, and at least one surgeon, told me that I needed major surgery to permanently repair my conditions (cut out a portion of my colon to remove veins). People I talked to who knew others who endured this or a similar surgery told me that I would never again have normal BM’s because the surgery may necessitate altering my sphincter muscle. They also said that I would probably miss at least a week of work. I am barely 26 years old. You can probably imagine the psychological impact the thought of such a surgery had on me at this point in my life.
I saw a surgeon several months before someone recommended you to me. The surgeon examined me, and before I left his office, he told me to return to his office within two weeks for another exam because "something is very wrong, but I am not quite sure what it is. I will take a better look in two weeks."
Within one minute of your having examined me, you diagnosed my conditions. Within ten minutes, you helped me to decide what treatments would best cure my problems. Surgical treatment of the fissure required the most post-operative care. Realizing the pain commonly associated with this surgical procedure, you told me how to ensure my comfort while I healed. Surprisingly, I did not endure much pain, and I only lost 2 hours of sleep the duration of my healing. Also, it surprised me, but probably not you, that I had surgery Saturday morning, and I worked the next Monday through Friday, for 8 hours per day without incident. Lastly, my husband hates to see me in pain. I know you have little control over how much pain a person must endure as a result of your procedures. However, it helped that you suggested so many ways of ensuring that I endured little pain, and for this my husband thanks you too.
I believe my hemorrhoid treatment is going quite well. I now pass normal sized stools with less of that "tight" feeling. I have almost no pain (slightly tender sometimes). I am eating foods I told you that I quit eating because I believed they caused bulkier stools.
I read some of the letters that you posted from some of your other patients which helped to calm some of my unavoidable fear. You may add an anonymous copy (enclosed) of this one to your collection if you wish.
Again, thank you for treating me Dr. Cranford. I hope to refer many clients to you in the future.

This is sooner than I had intended to let you know, but I just have to tell how pleased I am with the treatments completed last week. I've been on the road "R V ing" since then and usually experience discomfort or pain. No more!!! ! We ride in a one ton truck which rides like a truck.
It sure makes the traveling more enjoyable.

For about two years I was suffering from itching and serious hemorrhoid so much that I was not able to sleep at night I had gone to regular medical clinic where.
